Avgi Panagiotopoulou

Born in Athens, she graduated from the «Κ.Σ.Ο.Τ.» with distinction in 2004 and also the American College of Athens. She has taken piano and flute lessons as well as musical theory in the «Atheneum-Maria Callas» conservatory. After finishing her studies in Greece she went to Paris where she took classical dance classes. She attended technique lessons in dance by Denise Vall, Risa Steinberg, David Zambrano and Stefan Prince and also performed several parts in the repertories of Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Marc Morris and Pascal Rioult. In 2004 she performed as a member of the dance group «Amalgama» at the Olympic Games’ ceremony in Athens and from 1994 until today she performs as one of the priestesses in Maria Hors’ choreographies for the ceremony of the lighting of the Olympic flame.

Avgi has been a member of Daniel Lommel’s «AENAON Dance Theatre» since 2002.
