Filitsa Thomopoulou

Filitsa Thomopoulou

Born in Athens. She followed lessons in pre-professional departments of «Κ.Σ.Ο.Τ.» and «Greek National Opera» and she won trophies in pupils’ competitions. She graduated from the school of the «Greek National Opera» and continued her studies in «London Contemporary Dance School» through scholarships by «Onasi’s Foundation» and «Fund of Excellence Foundation». She participated in performances such as, «Ulysseus» (Corfu Municipility 2004), in a musical (Maroussi Municipility 2005), «Swan’s lake» (Greek national Opera 2006), «Dafnis and Apollo» (choreographer and solist, Nea Makri Municipility 2006), Bizet’s «Carmen» in «Odeon of Herodes Atticus» (director Steven Pimlott, choreographer Aletta Colins 2007), «I, you breath» (with «Less pointe» company, choreographer Maria-Ioanna Xanthaki 2009) and «Picture Prefect» (with «Just Us Dance Thatre» company and choreographer Yvan Joseph Toonga 2011).

Filitsa has been a member of Daniel Lommel’s «AENAON Dance Theatre» since 2012.
